World Animal Protection proudly announces that renowned actress Evanna Lynch—who portrayed Luna Lovegood in the beloved Harry Potter film series—has partnered with the organization as one of its newest global ambassadors.

Evanna Lynch, a lifelong animal lover and welfare advocate, brings a personal connection to her role as a global ambassador for World Animal Protection. Her impressive track record supporting animal rights is a testament to her deep empathy for all creatures, and she will use her voice and support to further the charity's mission to end animal cruelty suffered by wild and farmed animals.

Evanna Lynch Biography:

Evanna is an actress and writer. Her professional career began at age 14 when her passion for reading let her to audition for the role of Luna Lovegood in the Harry Potter films. She went on play the iconic role in the Harry Potter films 5-8. Since then, she has continued to act on screen, stage and as a voiceover artist. Evanna is also a keen writer and published her first book The Opposite of Butterfly Hunting: The Tragedy and Glory of Growing Up in October 2021. She is currently working on a novel.
